Healthy living is all about moderation, and making small positive changes and practising them until they are habits. Avoid looking for a silver bullet, such as cutting out all carbs or sugar, or eating huge quantities of chocolate, or making similar extreme changes.
We suggest focusing on the moderation advocated by balanced guidelines such as the Eating and Activity Guidelines for New Zealand Adults published by the NZ Ministry of Health.
